My name is Cedar Sherman and I am a teacher candidate currently in my second year of the Secondary B.Ed program at the University of Northern British Columbia. Previously, I completed my Bachelor of Arts with a major in English, and plan to complete my Masters of Education as well.
I am extremely passionate about the outdoors, sports, healthy lifestyles, literature, and music, and I aim to bring my passions into my high school classrooms. I am eager to create an inclusive, caring, and healthy community within my classrooms. I am looking forward to fostering respectful and authentic relationships between myself and my students.
I am an avid traveler, and believe that my travelling has been an imperative part of my growth as a learner. Being immersed in different cultures has given me an appreciation for the diversity and beauty of all unique places and people.
